Steve Tilston will be fondly remembered by many readers as one of the leading lights on the Bristol folk music scene in the 1970s and 80s – a fine musician with an international reputation. A Pretty Penny in Acoustic Magazine’s top 50 song selection…

To celebrate the 50th issue of Acoustic magazine there are special features including the top 50 acoustic songs chosen by the readers – Steve is there at number 32 with A Pretty Penny – alongside Nick Drake, Simon & Garfunkel, Joan Armatrading and others plus one of Steve’s personal inspirations Big Bill Broonzy.
